Aiden Byrne has been appointed Chef Director of D&D London’s new Manchester restaurant 20 Stories. Opening in February 2018, 20 Stories will occupy the 19th floor rooftop of the No.1 Spinningfields building and feature a modern British menu, using local produce sourced no more than 50 miles from the city.

Formerly Chef Patron at Manchester House, Byrne heads to D&D having worked at a number of Michelin-starred restaurants including Adlards, The Commons Restaurant, Danesfield Hoyse and Spa, and Tom Aikens restaurant.

D&D have appointed CentraRuddy, a New York based design firm, to design the 440-capacity space with striking features such as a gold leaf ceiling, silver birch trees and living green wall set to create a spectacular dining experience that matches the grandeur of the 360-degree views of Manchester’s city skyline as viewed from the restaurant’s terrace.
