The development of the iconic No.1 Spinningfields has hit the half-way point, with a Marks & Spencer food hall and rooftop restaurant confirmed for the building.
The 19-storey Grade A office space has already made a dramatic impact on Manchester’s skyline and is the final part of the award-winning Spinningfields masterplan.
Due to be completed by summer 2017, No.1 Spinningfields, a 300,000 sq ft commercial development, is the largest and highest specified commercial building project outside of London.
Marks & Spencer has committed to the building and will create a unique ‘food hall’ concept on the ground floor, with renowned London restaurant group D&D operating a rooftop restaurant and garden terrace, which will become the highest publicly accessible space in Manchester.
No.1 Spinningfields will also house Manchester’s first champagne and oyster bar sitting alongside an exclusive business lounge and meeting rooms all located on the lower floors.
The exclusive business lounge – expected to rival even the most premium of business class lounges – will be located on the podium mezzanine level and mix business and pleasure in a refined and sophisticated setting.
