20 Stories are delighted to welcome their new Executive Head Chef Mike Jennings.

With more than 20 years of culinary experience up his sleeves, Michelin-trained chef Mike Jennings is the latest addition to Manchester’s highest rooftop restaurant, bar and terrace. Mike, who began his career at the renowned Green Dragon pub in Lymm, before working at Saint-Hélier’s Bohemia, was part of the team at the prestigious Northcote Manor Hotel in Lancashire, working beside the likes of Nigel Haworth and Gary Rhodes OBE.

Mike will put his own unique spin on the 20 Stories menu, showcasing the best of the Northwest with an aim to source ingredients locally. Signature dishes are set to include whole dover sole with brown shrimp butter and burnt lemon, plus grilled mackerel and beetroot salad. Mike said “The view from 20 Stories deserves a quality dining experience. I am excited to develop the menu and deliver high quality, premium produce with bold flavours.”

Situated on the 19th floor of No.1 Spinningfields, 20 Stories is composed of a glamorous restaurant, lively bar and expansive rooftop terrace with unparalleled 360-degree views of the Manchester skyline. From lunch, brunch, a la carte and afternoon tea options, there is something for everyone to enjoy high above Manchester. The bar, headed up by Bar Manager Stuart McLachlan, serves signature cocktails, craft beer and experiments with local ingredients to provide the most unique tastes in the city. With an extensive wine list, created by Head Sommelier Lukas Nikanorovas, wine pairing has never felt so easy.
