A team from Spinningfields developers Allied London are set to tackle the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of The Joshua Tree charity, ascending and descending the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in a 24-hour period.

The starting point is Scotland’s Ben Nevis at 5pm on Saturday 8th July, followed by Scafell Pike in the Lake District very early the following morning, and finally travelling to Snowdon in Wales with a target completion time of 5pm on Sunday 9th.

The Challenge

Ascend and descend 3,500 metres
Walk the equivalent of a marathon (up and down hill)
Drive approximately 900 miles

All of this is achieved in 24 hours, with no sleep and without stopping.  This is a very serious undertaking, and the team have already lost one member to a broken leg in training. It will push them to the limit mentally as well as physically.
