Jason Manford will headline a live stand-up comedy show – Howl for the Bowel – at The Oast House on 18 April 2022.

The star will be joined at the festival-style event by a host of big-name support acts from the world of comedy and music, to be announced over coming months.

The doors to this open-air event, scheduled for next year’s Easter bank holiday Monday, will open from 5pm, with additional entertainment from The Oast House’s resident DJ’s.

In memory of Jason’s long-time friend Michelle Mullane, a former XFM and Key 103 radio presenter who recently passed away from bowel cancer at the age of 50, the gig was originally due to be hosted in 2020 however COVID-19 restrictions postponed plans for which the revised date poignantly marks what would have been Michelle’s birthday.

Tickets will be released throughout the year, the first wave available to purchase here.

All profits from ticket sales and fundraising will be donated to Cancer Research UK.

So let’s raise a glass, have a laugh and help beat cancer!
