Join us for this year’s Curry Club

The next curry club event will be held at Scene on Friday 29 November with a special appearance from Chris Tarrant OBE,  former presenter of hit quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

Tickets (£45+VAT) can be purchased online here and include a complimentary beer on arrival, entertainment from comedian Jamie Sutherland and the opportunity to raise money for Wooden Spoon – the rugby children’s charity.

First conceived in September 1996 as the Dewi Morris Club after a testimonial lunch to mark the end of Dewi’s illustrious rugby career, The Curry Club has, over 18 years and 80 lunches later, transitioned into a highly successful networking event that guarantees excellent entertainment, delicious food and the opportunity to fundraise for charity.

Chris Tarrant is a radio and television broadcaster, most famous for presenting the hit quiz show Who Wants to be a Millionaire and the ITV Children’s show Tiswas. His other credits include presenting on Capital Radio.

In 2004, Chris received an OBE for his extensive charity work, which includes being an ambassador for the homeless charity, Centrepoint; Trustee/Patron of The New School at West Heath for disadvantaged children; patron of Milly’s Fund, set up in memory of murdered Surrey teenager “Milly” Dowler; and patron of the Phoenix Centre for children with special needs.
