‘Host’ by Hilary Jack aims to promote the work of the Manchester Homelessness Charter, with each piece telling a hidden story behind our development as a city and a community.

Street Support

Street Support makes it easier for people experiencing homelessness to find services to meet their needs, and also makes it easier for the rest of us to know what we can do to help.

There are over 40 amazing organisations supporting people who are homeless in Manchester – day centres, accommodation, health and substance misuse specialists, services for women and young people, and more. Using Street Support, individuals and organisations can find up to date service information to meet current needs, and also to see gaps and overlaps in service provision.

Manchester is a kind-hearted city, and many people want to help but don’t know what to do for the best. Street Support directs those with the resources and energy to services and individuals, ensuring that genuine needs are met, and reducing wastage.

Street Support also supports the Homelessness Charter, the Big Change campaign, and creates articles and creative assets to inform and inspire more people to get involved.
