Dahlicious summer days at Left Bank
From 2nd to 4th August The Garden at Left Bank hosted a series of screenings to celebrate Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday.
Families flocked from across the North West to catch some of the late author’s best-loved movie adaptations, featuring Matilda, Fantastic Mr Fox, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Bangers and Bacon brought the family fun, giving Matilda a run for her money with pancake making, and Manchester Central Library hosted their Summer Reading Challenge in between screenings.
Screenings at The Garden continue at 5.30pm pn 18th August with ‘Cool Runnings’.
