Spinningfields are proud to announce 2018 sponsorship of The Curry Club
First conceived in September 1996 as the Dewi Morris Club after a testimonial lunch to mark the end of Dewi’s illustrious rugby career, The Curry Club has, over 18 years and 80 lunches later, transitioned into a highly successful networking event that guarantees excellent entertainment, delicious food and the opportunity to fundraise for charity.
Spinningfields are delighted to sponsor the Curry Club for 2018 and are keen to continue the success of the event, which has since conception raised more than £50,000 to support various good causes: the most recent of which has been in aid of Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby. From sensory rooms, specialist playgrounds and sports activity areas to respite, medical and community care, Wooden Spoon fund around 70 projects each year that support disadvantaged and disabled children.
Aptly renamed the Spinningfields Curry Club, the next event will be held at Scene on 23rd March with confirmed appearances from rugby legend David Trick as well as the award-winning comedian Gary Marshall.
Tickets (£60) can be purchased online here and include welcome drinks, lunch and entertainment.
