Welcome to the new age of The Alchemist

In the 19th century, Spinningfields was described as a “den of iniquity, teeming with opium dens, gin palaces and alehouses”. An apt birthplace for the original Alchemist.

The Alchemist is carrying out a refurbishment of their original venue in Spinningfields, Manchester from Monday 28 February to align with their next phase of the brand, reopening on Tuesday 29 March.

First opened in 2010, the refurbishment will be a significant evolution with influences from astrology and the cosmos. A cocktail bar like no other, expect mixology magic with a devilish dash of theatre, with the addition of two new private areas perfect for late night drinks!

To celebrate, the spanking new venue will also open with an equally new and impactful food menu that provides a playful twist on classic dishes that promise to bedazzle and bewitch all that visit. With gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options aplenty, the venue is an ideal lunch and dinner spot in the heart of the city.

Pre-book now to see the change and how they’ve levelled up!
