The Oast House does it again!

The 6th September 2017 saw another triumphant Guinness World Record broken at The Oast House adding a second title to their belt, and a third for the New World Trading Company.

255 people descended on the courtyard on an unfortunately overcast and cold evening to join in the World’s Largest Cider Tasting event, where collectively they sank over 100 litres of Aspall’s finest cyder, all in the name of record breaking. The tasting was led by NWTC’s Beer Ciccerone Kieran Hartley and 8th generation owner of Aspall Cyder, Henry Chevallier-Guild, who guided participants through 3 different ciders.

Glenn Pollard was on hand as the official adjudicator from Guinness World Records to announce the victory at 7:30pm to a very happy and eager crowd.
