HARDMAN SQUARE OFFICIALLY RE-OPENS WITH THE LAWN CLUB POP-UP
Successful Spinningfields bar ‘The Lawn Club’ will be making its return to the estate this summer.
The Lawn Club, operated by WePop, will provide a quintessentially British themed venue and offering over the summer months, which includes a wide range of cocktails, craft beers and wines, accompanied by a weekly-rotating street-food menu.
Originally closed to make way for the construction of No.1 Spinningfields, the returning pop-up will be housed within the Hardman Square public realm which has undergone a dramatic transformation into an urban oasis in the city-centre.

In addition to the covered veranda bar, the public will also be able to utilise the deck chairs on the lawns for al fresco socialising.
You can now grab a bite to eat beside The Lawn Club from The Shack, a brand new barbecue joint inspired by big southern flavours. Featuring a sizzling selection of pulled pork burgers, chargrilled halloumi flatbreads, teriyaki salmon kebabs and more, The Shack is set to become a much-loved retreat this summer.
Running until the end of summer, the space will become a permanent structure in the following year.
Michael Ingall, Allied London Chief Executive, commented “The Lawn Club, which was a joint venture between Allied London and James Wrigley, was one of our biggest place-making successes when we launched it in 2014. Over the last few years we’ve worked hard to further the Spinningfields estate, making it a greener space that continues to be a real destination for dining and drinking. This pop-up will be a celebration of the hard work done and pre-empt the next phase of development which will see a permanent structure built on the site.”
